Doosan Corporation and Doosan Fuel Cell, on the 10th, received a “B (Management)” rating, the second-highest level, in the Climate Change Assessment administered by Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP).

CDP, founded in the United Kingdom in 2000, is a global non-profit organization that, acting on behalf of financial institutions worldwide, collects environmental data from major publicly listed companies, including data related to climate change, water resources, and deforestation. The organization analyzes and provides the information to investors and other stakeholders, thereby promoting a sustainable economy by encouraging transparent disclosure of corporate climate strategies and carbon emissions.

CDP assessment results are widely regarded as highly credible indicators of corporate sustainability performance, alongside the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) and FTSE4Good. In the current year, approximately 24,000 companies globally participated in the assessment.

Doosan Corporation has responded proactively to the CDP assessment since 2023 and has maintained a B rating for three consecutive years. In this year’s assessment, the company achieved strong results in climate risk and opportunity management, greenhouse gas reduction initiatives, development of low-carbon products, and value chain engagement.
* Value Chain Engagement refers to strategic efforts in which a company works closely with stakeholders across all stages of production and distribution to generate sustainable value and enhance long-term competitiveness.

Doosan Corporation annually measures detailed targets and performance outcomes—including reductions in greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption as well as waste recycling initiatives—and discloses the results in its Sustainability Report. The company has set a target to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 20% by 2030 compared with 2018 levels. Going forward, Doosan plans to continue strengthening its group-wide climate change response by developing a carbon neutrality roadmap and further systematizing the measurement of indirect greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 3) across its entire value chain.

Doosan Fuel Cell participated in the CDP assessment for the first time this year and achieved a B rating, gaining external recognition for its environmental management practices and climate change response capabilities. The company received favorable evaluations for its enhanced double materiality assessment, expanded disclosure of climate-related information, investment in research and development of low-carbon products, disclosure of environmental and social benefits, and value chain engagement.
* The Double Materiality Assessment is a methodology that evaluates ESG-related issues by considering both the impact of social and environmental factors on a company’s financial position and the impact of the company’s business activities on society and the environment.

Beginning in 2026, Doosan Fuel Cell plans to reinforce its ESG governance framework and, based on this foundation, focus on advancing its carbon emissions management systems and further enhancing the environmental performance of its products.
