Each year, S&P Global publishes The Sustainability Yearbook based on the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA, formerly DJSI), which comprehensively evaluates companies’ ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) performance from the previous year. This year, about 9,200 companies worldwide participated in the assessment, of which 848 companies across 59 industries were selected for inclusion in the Yearbook.

Recognized companies are classified into the following categories based on their assessment scores: ▲ Top 1% (within the top 1% in the industry) ▲ Top 5% ▲ Top 10% ▲ Industry Mover (company with the most significant score improvement in its industry) ▲ Yearbook Member (top 15% within the industry).

Doosan Corporation was first included in 2018 as the “Industry Mover” in the Industrial Conglomerates sector and has now been listed for seven consecutive years. This year, the company achieved a Top 10% ranking, underscoring its sustained efforts and measurable progress in advancing ESG management. In the latest CSA evaluation, Doosan Corporation earned particularly high scores in Human Capital Management and Transparency & Reporting. Strengthened disclosure frameworks and public reporting contributed to above-industry-average scores in key areas including Human Rights, Materiality Analysis, Biodiversity, and Product Stewardship.

Doosan Enerbility, included in the Machinery and Electrical Equipment sector, has been named in the Yearbook for six consecutive years. The company received strong recognition for improvements in Climate Strategy, Environmental Policy & Management, Human Capital Management, Occupational Health & Safety, and Customer Relationship, achieving globally competitive CSA scores. Notably, in the past year, as part of its efforts to respond to global ESG regulations, Doosan Enerbility established an ESG data management system to meet global mandatory disclosure requirements, and management frameworks as well as a system to respond to global product carbon regulations.

Doosan Fuel Cell was included in the Yearbook for the first time this year in the Electrical Components & Equipment sector. Since its initial participation in the CSA in 2022, the company has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index and has consistently maintained top-tier industry scores, earning recognition as an ESG leader. Doosan Fuel Cell received high marks for Supply Chain ESG Management, K-Taxonomy-based financial impact measurement and disclosure, Waste Emissions, Biodiversity, and Occupational Health & Safety. Its climate-related initiatives—including financial impact assessments based on physical climate risk analysis and greenhouse gas reduction efforts at operational sites—were also positively evaluated.

The three Doosan affiliates plan to actively leverage the official Sustainability Yearbook emblem in future marketing and communications initiatives, further reinforcing their position as leading ESG-driven enterprises.
