CEO of Doosan Fuel Cell, Doosoon Lee, was awarded the Order of Industrial Service Merit at the 4th Hydrogen Day Ceremony

Doosoon Lee, CEO of Doosan Fuel Cell, received the Order of Industrial Service Merit at the 4th Hydrogen Day Ceremony held at the Plaza hotel in Seoul on November 3, in recognition of his contributions to the activation of the hydrogen economy.

On November 3, Doosan Fuel Cell CEO Doosoon Lee was awarded the Order of Industrial Service Merit at the `4th Hydrogen Day’ Ceremony.

The Hydrogen Day Ceremony is hosted by the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment and organized by the Korea Hydrogen Alliance (formerly the Hydrogen Convergency Alliance). The event honors companies and individuals that have contributed significantly to technological progress in the hydrogen industry and to the broader adoption of hydrogen in society. At the ceremony, awards are presented to individuals who played a key role in activating hydrogen economy and the advancing the hydrogen industry.

Doosoon Lee has been instrumental in ▲localizing hydrogen fuel cells and advancing technologies with a PAFC localization rate of over 99% and SOFC localization rate of approximately 80%, ▲supplying hydrogen fuel cell power plants to promote the hydrogen economy with a cumulative domestic deployment of about 777MW, ▲creating a domestic hydrogen fuel cell industry ecosystem, and ▲advancing domestic production and technological innovation of hydrogen-powered drones.

In his remarks, Doosoon Lee noted, “This award was made possible thanks to the dedication of all our employees. Looking ahead, we are committed to developing technologies and pursuing product innovation to expand business opportunities and contribute to the growth of the domestic hydrogen economy.”
